How it Works: VHS & MiniDV to DVD Conversions

02/04/2013 16:03
  • Once you have determined the number of tapes you wish to convert to DVD,  look up our RATES page to determine the cost for the number of tapes you wish converted

  • We are unable to convert Copyrighted materials.  Thank you for your understanding.

  • We are unable to convert your  tapes if they have mould,  have gear mechanism trouble,  or faulty in any way.

  • Upon completion,  we will mail your DVD (Australia wide) free of charge.

  • Should you wish to have your tapes returned,  we can do so but it will be at customer's expense PLUS a small handling fee to cover for stationery expenses such as bubblewrap, envelopes, postage costs etc

  • Tapes that are not returned to the customer will be kept in storage for 3 months,  after which we will securely dispose of them.

  • We will do our best to transfer your tapes to DVD in the best way possible,  however please understand that for a variety of reasons such as tape deterioration, age of media, quality of recording etc may result in a less than perfect transfer.

  • NOTE : we consider one tape as a maximum duration of 180 mins or 3 hours.  Tapes that have been recorded on Long Play (LP) mode which exceed 180 mins will be incrementally charged.  As an example,  a 240 min tape (4 hours) recorded on LP mode yields 8 hours of video.  This will be charged  as  3 tapes.
